Alongside hip-hop allies like The Black Eyed Peas, Poet Name Life has established himself as one of the next generation Artist/Producers. Adapting influences of classical music training, soul, jazz, and electro to capture world class performances of boundary breaking music. To capture this sound, he innovatively combines spacey Moog riffs, stripped-down ‘turntablistics’, hard drumbeats, and the lush instrumentation of live musicians.

Poet has graced the stage around the world, MTV, and even the Playboy Mansion with high-calibre, well-diversified artists that transcend genres. His experience boasts of such names as The Black Eyed Peas, Blood Of Abraham, Fabulous, King Britt, Zap Mama, Public Enemy, The Roots, Dilated Peoples, Joe Hahn (Linkin Park), Pharell, Razel, Travis Barker(Blink 182), Pete Rock, Fish Bone, DJ Rocky Rock, MC Supernatural, Grey Boy, DJ Swamp, Cut Chemist, Slum Village and many more.

During 2006 Poet’s escalating appeal and recognition has already lead him to writing and production sessions with internationally known artists as well as completing many more DJ’ing spots from his native Los Angeles to Taipei (Taiwan).

Poet’s had an amazing year co-writing and Producing with Justin Timberlake (SonyBMG), Tila Tequila, Balay (Interscope), remixing Family Force 5 (Maverick) and also finding time to Produce two tracks for the 'Guantanamero' OST. Poet also recently became a Grammy Committee Member.
